By now, we’re used to seeing pop-up restaurants. Or art galleries. Or even yoga studios. But Plein Publiek in Antwerp is combining all of these (plus a nightclub and workout space!) into one vibrant mega-pop-up.
Plein Publiek takes a block of unused apartments set to be renovated in 2018 and, in the meantime, transforms that empty space as a place for people to do everything from getting cut to cutting loose. Visitors to the pop-up, expected to be up until May, will be able to enjoy brunches, dance the night away (live music on the weeknights, DJ on the weekends), or peruse a flea market all in the same beautiful spot.
