CLIA Cruise Week Deals Are Here

If you've been waiting for a good deal to book a cruise, you're in luck. Cruise Lines International Association is holding its annual CLIA Cruise Week (formerly called National Cruise Vacation Week), the world's largest cruise sale.

From October 6–13, CLIA's 26 member lines, which operate 200 of the world's most popular ships, are offering hundreds of exclusive cruise deals. Whether you're opting to visit Europe or the Caribbean, or somewhere farther away like South America or Australia, you can find special offers like cabin upgrades, onboard discounts and spending credits, cheaper airfare, and reduced-price (or complimentary) offshore excursion offerings.

Here are some of the specials available 

• Norwegian Cruise Line passengers will receive 10% off their cruise fare in the form of onboard credits for specialty dining, shore excursions, or spa treatments—as well as $100 onboard credit per person for specialty sailings, or $300 in onboard credits on select itineraries. 

• Carnival Cruise Line passengers can find great rates plus 50% reduced deposits, a two-category upgrade, and $50 onboard credit per stateroom.

• Avalon River Cruises passengers can save $1,300 per couple for European river cruises.

• Disney Cruise Line passengers will get $100 onboard credit on select 7-night Western Caribbean cruises.

• Hurtigruten passengers will save 10% on current price levels for Norway Coastal Voyages.

• Royal Caribbean passengers will get a buy-one-guest, get-the-second-guest 50% off, as well as a 5% discount on the line's ChoiceAir fare bookings.

• Cunard passengers can receive up to $175 onboard credit per stateroom on any Transatlantic bookings on the Queen Mary 2.

• MSC Cruises passengers can book balcony staterooms at ocean view rates for select sailings in the Caribbean and Europe; if they book a trip on the Fantastica Experience, they will receive a complimentary drink package, and select Caribbean sailings offer free gratuities.

• Princess passengers will enjoy a 30% discount on bookings, plus free gratuities and onboard credit for balcony staterooms and above.

• Paul Gauguin Cruises passengers who book voyages on the Paul Gauguin or the Tere Moana will receive $100 onboard credit per person and 50% off standard all-inclusive cruise fares.
