Double Your Pleasure (for Less) at D.C.’s 1789 Restaurant

1789 Restaurant, included in Gourmet magazine’s “America’s Top Tables,” now offers two prix-fixe menu options for early birds and night owls. The pre-theater menu caters to the early set, available on weekdays before 6:45. After-hours dinners are available after 9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, or after 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Each three-course dinner costs $35 per person. While executive chef Nathan Beauchamp’s menu changes daily, recurring favorites include specialties such as roasted venison, crispy sea bass, and pistachio-crusted lamb.
