Pass through the door of this modest storefront and you'll feel as if you've stumbled into a trattoria in Italy. The aromas of Northern Italian cooking permeate the sunny yellow dining room, which is overseen by its native Italian owners. Each day the kitchen produces small plates including a few baked pastas, a roast of the day, and thin-crust pizzas—including a memorable "white" pie topped with porcini mushrooms and mozzarella. (All the hot dishes come out of an oven—no stove here.) Wine drinkers will find an all-Italian list, which showcases gems from limited-production vineyards.
The space is not suitable for large groups.
