Global Icon

A Vegas icon since opening since 1998, the Bellagio is a favorite with both the leisure and business crowds—it's even popular with travelers not staying on site, who come to experience the famous musical fountain show featured in movies like Ocean's 13 and The Hangover. Those lucky enough to check in will find no shortage of blatant winks to Liberace, with bold colors and patterns throughout the lobby, and a casino true to opulent Las Vegas form, as well as high-caliber restaurants like Michael Mina and Prime Steakhouse. Plus the property doubles as the venue for famed production O by Cirque du Soleil and has a renowned in-house fine-art gallery with rotating exhibitions; a recent one, presented in collaboration with the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, featured the work of French impressionist Claude Monet. The place is undoubtedly over the top, but the city wouldn't be the same without it.
