Originally opened as the Elysian in 2010 and renamed earlier this year, the glamorous 188-room hotel, designed by architect Lucien Lagrange, takes cues from Coco Chanel's Paris, with fashion-forward guestrooms, art-lined public spaces, and a sophisticated spa. Some rooms have fireplaces for those cool Chicago nights, others have terraces for sunny days. But it's the property's Gold Coast location that really makes it a go-to destination: it's within walking distance of most downtown attractions.
