The Upper House
City Chic

Plenty of hotels want to be your home away from home, but this one might just achieve the distinction—though it may be a little higher up than the home you're used to. Located on the upper floors of Hong Kong's exclusive Pacific Place, the Upper House was envisioned as a private home elevated high above the busy city, with a buzzy restaurant that stars the acclaimed East-meets-West cuisine of chef Gray Kunz. Renowned architect Andre Fu used natural materials and subtle lighting to create intriguing spaces that are strikingly modern yet comfortable and inviting. Rooms are spacious, modern, and stocked with complimentary snacks. A fun extra is the secret garden and lush green lawn (quite rare in Hong Kong), where you can eat, drink, or simply relax—as if you were in your own backyard.
