How do I view my profile, including my forum activity and reviews?
After signing in, click your member name or the word "Profile" to view your profile page. When you are signed in, your member name appears at the top of every page on Fodors.com.
Who can see my profile?
Other members and site visitors can click on your member name to view your profile. They can see everything you see except your account settings. Your e-mail will not appear in your profile unless you check the box on your account-settings page specifying that it should appear.
How do I change my profile picture?
You can choose a picture to represent your member profile. To upload your profile image, click on the "Change picture" or "Edit my profile" link on your profile page. Click the "Upload" box to select the photo you'd like to display. Don't forget to click the "Save" button at the bottom to save your upload. What is the "Recent topics" section that appears in member profiles?
The "Recent topics" section displays all of the topics that a member has started in the forums. These topics appear in descending order by the date of the last reply or the last post the topic received. If a topic that you started a long time ago appears at the top of your profile's "Recent topics" section, it is because it has received a new reply. Select "See all your topics" to view more topics you've started.
What is the "Topics recently commented on" section that appears in member profiles?
The "Topics recently commented on" section displays all of the topics that a member has replied to, from most to least recent. This order allows you to see when a topic that you've participated in has a new reply.
How can I change the e-mail, password, or security answer associated with my account?
To update your account settings, sign in, then click "Account settings" at the top of the page. You can also go to this page from your profile.
How do I change my member name?
It is not possible to change your member name, but you are welcome to join again with another e-mail address. If you'd like to join again under a new name but with the same e-mail address, you must first delete your original membership.
How do I delete my membership?
To delete your membership, sign into Fodors.com and select "Account settings." At the bottom of the settings page is a box you must check to delete your account and profile. After checking this box and hitting "Save," you will receive an e-mail from us that contains a confirmation link. Click this link to confirm that you would like to delete your membership. If you're unsatisfied with your experience on our site, please contact us at forums@fodors.com.
How do I contact other members?
There is no official way to contact other members at this time. Some members choose to display an e-mail address in their profiles. You may request their help (along with the help of other members) in our forums by starting a new topic.
