Vantage operates five river cruisers: the 170-passenger River Odyssey and the newly refurbished 140-passenger River Navigator. Opt for the Owner’s Suite on the luxurious Discovery II, launched in 2012. Its sister ship, the River Splendor, launches in 2013. The 134-passenger River Venture aims to please with a four-to-one crew to guest ratio. All ships are nonsmoking with designated outdoor areas only.

All staterooms have flat-screen TVs, bathroom with shower, and a safe. Junior suites add a French balcony, DVD player, minibar, and tea/coffeemaker. Both River Odyssey andRiver Explorer have Wi-Fi throughout. Explore the Rhine, Main, Danube, and Mosel rivers, where Christmas-market cruises are highly popular each season. On the Rhône, Vantage charters the 80-passenger Rembrandt.
