Pros and Cons
Pros: a complimentary water-resistant backpack is provided to each passenger; every expedition features complimentary excursions led by the Expedition Team or a guest host; there's no extra charge to send a fax or print something in the Internet café.
Cons: special meal requests that are routine on other Silversea ships might not be possible on Silver Explorer; children under six are not allowed on Zodiacs (and an adult must remain on board the ship with the child); the ship has 220-volt power with European-style outlets that require a plug adapter or a transformer.
