Seabourn Spirit Review
About This Ship
Cruise Ship Overview
The second of Seabourn Cruise Line’s intimate, all-suite vessels, Seabourn Spirit entered service in 1989. Virtually identical to her sister ships Legend and Pride, Seabourn Spirit received an extensive refurbishment in 2010.
The height of absolute luxury, Seabourn’s megayachts surround passengers in comfort and understated style punctuated by polished brass accents and etched-glass panels. Public rooms are intimate but not cramped, although predinner cocktail gatherings tend to strain the available room in the popular Club bar.
The relative amount of shipwide space devoted to passengers is among the highest in the cruise industry, and the public areas and deck spaces were designed so that no one aboard feels crowded. Fresh flower arrangements add a gracious touch to the classic decor of every public room.
After ambitious programs of extensive refurbishment, each of Seabourn's yacht-like vessels emerged from dry dock in shipshape.
