Food

As expected from a member of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, Seabourn offers exceptional cuisine prepared à la minute and served in open seating dining rooms. Upscale menu offerings include foie gras, quail, fresh seafood, and jasmine crème brûlée. Dishes low in cholesterol, salt, and fat, as well as vegetarian selections, are prepared with the same artful presentation and attention to detail. Wines are chosen to complement each day's luncheon and dinner menus, and caviar is always available. A background of classical music sets the tone for afternoon tea. The weekly Gala Tea features such items as crêpes Suzette.

A casual dinner alternative on the original ships is Restaurant 2, serving innovative cuisine in multiple courses nightly in the Veranda Café, where outdoor tables enhance the romantic atmosphere. Evening attire in the Veranda Café is specified as casual or elegant casual—when men are asked to wear a jacket but no tie. A second and even more laid-back dinner alternative is offered on select occasions in the open-air Sky Bar, where grilled seafood and steaks are served. Sky Grill dinners are scheduled on a couple of nights during each cruise, weather permitting. Both Restaurant 2 and Sky Grill require reservations, but happily there is no additional charge for either. Aboard the new ships, Restaurant 2 has a dedicated space, and the Colonnade indoor-outdoor restaurant is centered on an open kitchen where you can watch chefs prepare your breakfast, lunch, or dinner order. Each evening has a different theme, offering an ever-changing culinary experience.

Room service is always available. Dinner can even be served course by course in your suite during restaurant hours.
