Saga Rose Review

Saga Ships

Overview

Saga Rose began sailing for Norwegian American Line in 1965 as Sagafjord and, despite being a bit long in the tooth, she is beloved for her sleek appearance and comfortable interiors. Well-built and beautifully maintained, she is a classic ship with many of the attributes of a true ocean liner—a teak wraparound promenade deck, thickly padded deck chairs, and an indoor swimming pool deep within the hull. In addition to a genuine ballroom, Saga Rose also has a cinema-theater and lounges for cocktails, dancing, and quiet conversation.
