Serenade of the Seas

Radiance Class review covers: Brilliance of the Seas, Jewel of the Seas, Radiance of the Seas, Serenade of the Seas

Restaurants

The double-deck-high formal dining room serves open-seating breakfast and lunch; dinner is served in two assigned seatings or open-seating My Timing Dining. For a more upscale dinner, each ship has two specialty restaurants—Portofino, serving Italian fare, and Chops Grille, a steak house. Both charge a supplement and require reservations. A revitalization of Radiance of the Seas in 2011 will add a Brazilian-style steak house and Mexican restaurant. No word is available on whether the other Radiance-class ships will recieve similar upgrades. The casual Lido buffet offers service nearly around the clock for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Seaview Café is open for quick lunches and dinners in a laid-back setting. A pizzeria in the Solarium serves pizza by the slice. The coffee bar features specialty coffees and pastries, for which there is a charge. Room service is available 24 hours; however there is a charge after midnight.
