Pros: Performances by Second City, Chicago's famous improvisation artists, are scheduled in the theater as well as in more intimate nightclub settings. Escape the crowds in the ship's tranquil library, which is also a good spot to gaze at the sea if your book proves to be less than compelling. With access to a private courtyard pool, hot tub, steam room, exercise area, and sundeck, Courtyard Villa accommodations are like a ship within a ship.
Cons: The thermal suites in the spa have large whirlpools, saunas, steam rooms, and a relaxation area with loungers facing the sea, but there is an additional charge to use the facility. "Freestyle" dining doesn't mean you can get a table in the main dining rooms at precisely the moment you want, but waiting times can be reduced if you time your arrival at nonpeak periods. For such a large ship, the Internet center is tiny.
