Tipping
Passengers may reward staff members with a gratuity for exceptional service should they choose to do so; however, tipping is not obligatory. Customary gratuities are added to your shipboard account. Guidelines are similar to those on other lines (suggested amounts are per person, per day): waiter $3.50-$5; matre d' $1-$2; stateroom attendant $3.50-$5. You can always adjust these amounts at the reception desk or even pay in cash, if you prefer. Automatic 15% gratuities are incorporated into all bar purchases.
