Costa Cruises: Costa Concordia

Review covers: Costa Concordia, Costa Serena

What Works & What Doesn't

Designed by Carnival's Joe Farcus, both ships feature bright themed interiors and original works of art. Costa Concordia's design draws inspiration from a variety of European architectural styles and Costa Serena reflects Roman and Greek mythology.

Couples counting on amore will want to check bed configurations carefully. A handful of outside cabins have one lower bed and a single sofa bed.

In European style, dinner seatings are later than is customary in North America and coffee isn't routinely offered with dessert.

The lack of Wi-Fi is disappointing.
