Costa Cruises: Costa Classica

Costa Classica, Costa Romantica review covers: Costa Classica, Costa Romantica

Favorites

What's That You Said?: We like being exposed to different cultures and opinions, so the international mix of travelers on this ship is a plus. The minus is that people may seem rude or aloof because they assume fellow passengers will not understand them. As a result, they tend to not speak in passing and not apologize when appropriate.

Our Favorite Spot for a Nightcap: We like the cosmopolitan atmosphere of the Piazza Grand Bar in the heart of each ship.

Best Smoking Advancement: Europeans like to smoke, and the habit may have seemed out of control in years past. The best news is that smoking is no longer allowed in dining rooms or at the bars, but there are designated smoking areas in each lounge. While still present, cigarette smoke is no longer as intolerable as it once was.

Best Splurge: Duty-free shops on board feature stylish Italian designer goods as well as a variety of quality souvenirs.
