Best Place to Escape the Crowds: Head for the libraries, which are ideal retreats for reading or playing board games. There are plenty of games, but you'll want to bring your own reading material. Surprisingly, the library spaces are as large as the piano bar.

Best Added Value: Sushi bars earn high marks for their complimentary creations, although you'll have to pay if you want a glass of sake to drink.

Our Favorite Spot for a Nightcap: These are ships designed for partying, so unless you want to party, it may be difficult to find a late-night hideaway offering peace and quiet. Although it may sound odd, softly lighted seating areas adjacent to the lobby bar can be tranquil retreats.

Best Spot for a Snack: Lido restaurants are spacious and cheery, with banks of windows on three sides. It's worth a walk all the way to the back counter to reach the to-die-for, freshly made pizza and deli-style sandwiches.
