Alaska is one of cruising's showcase destinations, and there are a wide variety of options available if you want to cruise here -- everything from small expedition ships, to large cruise liners, to simple car and passenger ferries. Though Alaska generally attracts an older group of travelers than the Caribbean, more and more young people and families are setting sail for the 49th state.
