A view from Masada
"This is a view of the Dead Sea from the top of Masada, one of Herod's palaces. It was absolutely breathtaking to be able to see so far on either side. Afterward, we were able to hike down the mountain."

Through the Cracks of Time
"We woke and saw this fortress from where we camped. The road to the fortress was steep and winding. Surprises were everywhere - an underground cistern, a spiral stairway that descended into darkness, and underground passages. The ancient fortress gave spectacular views of the valleys below. This photo captures the fortress from within itself looking towards its keep."

Hiking trail overlooking an oasis by the Dead Sea
"The hiking trails on the barren mountain ridge overlooking an oasis by the Dead Sea gives an awesome view of the contrast between a small patch of life and the total absence of any sign of life at the lowest point on earth."

Cold January morning
"A crisp, cold January morning in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem's Old City. As we walked towards the Western Wall, it felt like a dream to pass through the sun-drenched stone streets, feeling that every step was a time machine ride back to antiquity."

Men and Horse
"These Bedouin men sitting in the Negev were the main focus of my photo...and then the horse and the man wandered into the background. So what's the main focus now?"

Leader of the Pack
"I awoke early in the morning to photograph along the ridge of the crater. There stood the alpha male of this group of Ibex's staring me down. The background mountains and mist add so much to this photograph."

Lone paddler on Dead Sea
This was taken on my trip to Israel, and the Dead Sea. There was only a few of us on this stretch of beach, and captured this lone Paddler, with Jordan visible in the distance.

God's Beauty
"As we were touring around the Church, the many images from the different religions that were all together in this church obviously stuck out. This picture is just one of the hundreds of interesting artifacts that stood out."
