View of Lava Flow from the Air
"Looking out through the open doors of the Paradise Helicopter as we flew over this area was so breathtaking. It took us along the coast to the most recent lava flow. It was incredible to see the extensive blackened coastline and to see the most recent additions to the coastline from the lava flow was amazing."Photo by Nicki Geigert

No Worries on Top of the World
"My husband and I frequently travel, but I'm the one who often spends a lot of time worrying that something will not turn out as planned. All along the drive to the 14,000 ft summit of Mauna Kea on The Big Island I was convinced we weren't going to see a sunset, as clouds had been hovering over Kona all day. And then we arrived at the domes of the main observatory where my husband said, 'See? No worries up here.'"Photo by Lisa Boice

Does it get any better?
"Diving into these pools as the waves rush in and popping up in the frothing waters couldn't be more perfect. These pools also are fun snorkling and just hanging out listening to the water crash on the rocks can fill a whole day!"Photo by cynicalthemumbler1

Green Sand Beach
"We gave our 4WD vehicle quite a work out getting to the green sand beach. We were rewarded with sparkling green sand and stunning blue water. We had this spectacular beach all to ourselves. It is something I will never forget."Photo by Daniel Valiukas

Hidden Falls
"We spotted this remote waterfall on a helicopter trip. Later we tried finding it while backpacking on the Na Pali Coast, but the trail disappeared into the jungle and we never found it."Photo by Kelli Glaser
