Oia, Santorini
"Looking over one of the many terraces in the town of Ia, I caught a glimpse of a man preparing Sea Urchins to be served at a local restaurant that evening. Urchins, they're what's for dinner!"Photo by BarryFishman

Oia, Santorini
"I took this shot while waiting for the legendary Oia sunset. We almost didn't go to Oia for the sunset as I'd heard it was horribly crowded and unpleasant. Nothing could be further from the truth — there was a lively festive atmosphere, strangers joined together with the common goal of seeing one the most spectacular sunsets on earth. A young man proposed to his girlfriend and everyone cheered the happy couple, as well as the sunset."Photo by isabel

Thira, Santorini
"My husband & I were on our honeymoon in June 2006. This was the view from the traditional village home we stayed in. On this particular morning, we enjoyed a breakfast of yogurt, honey and fresh bread along with our Greek coffee, and of course, the breathtaking view!"Photo by MomofZeus

Monoliths of Meteora
"The striking monoliths of Meteora were home to many monks fleeing the secular world; the monasteries perched atop are an awe-inspiring sight. Meteora, which means suspended in air, is a must see."Photo by MariafromNJ

"Take time to look up in Corfu! You will be greeted by many architectural delights as you stroll the streets. Bell towers abound, and the bougainvillea vine completed the frame perfectly!"Photo by bbobo

Imerovigli, Santorini
"This is a view from the front of our cave-style hotel room on Santorini. The cat is one of the thousands (millions?) of strays on the island. This one kept a close watch over our breakfast, which it regularly poached from during our visit."Photo by BarryFishman

Oia, Santorini
"I'd seen hundreds of photos of Santorini before I visited, but none truly conveyed the beauty of this island. The only other time I ever felt like this was stepping out of the Venice train station the first time and seeing the Grand Canal. Some places just have to be seen in person."Photo by isabel
