Dingle Bay
"The town of Dingle is the classic Irish fishing village. Fresh fish & chips at every pub makes this unique town a must for everyone. Coming out from a nice lunch from Murphy's pub offers this great view of the Bay...the colors are mindblowing"Photo by herbienj

Gondolier in Venice
"I was walking past an alley in Venice when I spotted this gondolier texting on his cell phone, I thought it was a fantastic mix of Old World and new technology."Photo by Rob Parham

Riomaggiore, flowing down the cliffs
"The region is visually spectacular, the little towns of the Cinque Terre like tapestry against the sapphire skies and sea, and it was great to slow down and relax and just enjoy the local culture."Photo by Chris Marlow

Secondary Colors
"Purple, Green and Orange at the entrance to a monastery at Paleokastritsa. I'm not the only person to shoot this door but this is my favorite because the colors are so vivid."Photo by jeep61

Beautiful day in Paris
"After a lovely parisian picnic under the Eiffel Tower, we walked up to Trocadero and decided to take a jumping picture. We were blessed with nice weather and a great day."Photo by Shannon McDonald

Apple Fritter Path
"This 2+ hour hike from Holenstein to Brandegg was more work than we anticipated in the warm afternoon sun of mid-June, but we still have fond and vivid memories of the deep rich sound of Swiss cowbells drifting in the breeze as cows grazed on the lush green grass in the mountain meadows. At the end of our hike we relaxed on a sun drenched deck as we savored a large plate of apple fritters in vanilla sauce with mugs of cold beer. Could there be a better way to end to a spectacular hike in the Swiss Alps?"Photo by CCummings

Quintessential Storybook
"Once in awhile the lighting and setting opens up to unveil the essence of charm which depicts the English countryside, and especially the heart of the Cotswolds, Chipping Campden. This vision embodies Thomas Kinkade's paintings of a fairy tale land of golden stone villages, thatched roofs and manicured topiary gardens, the quintessential storybook England!"Photo by johnbarron

Hill of Crosses, Siauliai
"Symbol of defiance against the Soviet way, the Hill of Crosses would be bulldozed one day and regrow the next. This is just a tiny fraction of the crosses now on the hill."Photo by Amy

Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas
"My friends and I decided we should attend a bull fight at the Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas. The crowds were packed with cheering fans. At first it was difficult to watch, so I took this photo instead. After a couple of fights, I found myself watching intently trying to imagine what the rush must feel like to actually be inside the arena with the bull."Photo by James_Kish
