Last One in is a Rotten Egg!
"We witnessed one of the Natural Wonders of the World, the Great Migration. After trying to catch this moment for 3 days and many hours, it finally happened right before we left the country."

"We had been to Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park, the Okavango and now the Namibian Desert and the stark beauty was beyond words. The Deadvlei trees have stood for almost a thousand years and we were speechless when we saw them."

On the Move
"We came upon this herd of springbok running in Etosha park just after driving a couple hundred yards away from some lions. The lions weren't interested in the Springbok and the Springbok didn't seem to care about the lions, but they decided to go for a run anyways! Such an exciting feeling to witness a large herd running through the great plains of Etosha."

"My son collects ancient weaponry. This Maasai brought out these arrows to show him and I asked if I might take a photo of him with his arrows. He was pleased to consent."

Emsagwen male moments before an epic battle with the Bicycle Crossing male at Mala Mala game reserve.
"During our last full day at Mala Mala our first sighting of the morning was an unforgettable encounter between two male leopards. This territorial battle had been building up for a long time and we were lucky enough to see both of the male leopards growling, salivating, panting, and pacing. Moments after we left the two males made contact but we were lucky enough to see another female leopard reunite with her six month old cub. At the end of the day we also got to see our first kill so it was a day on safari that will never be forgotten and this epic battle began the day."

"Early in the morning in the Masai Mara, we came across these seven cubs walking along a dirt road in the midst of a sea of long golden grass, while two lionesses lazily watched over them from a distance. Anyone who has been on a safari can attest to the magic of finding such fascinating creatures on what would otherwise be a small section of the interminable dirt roads criss-crossing the vast landscape."

"It was January and all of the babies were being born. I loved watching the interactions of the moms with their babies, and of course watching out for the predators."

What's for Breakfast?
"These pups were playing when suddenly something in the distance got their attention. It was early on a beautiful morning and it took Mom with breakfast to get their attention!"

"A perfect breezy day in the vast openness of the Mara. How many other lions were sleeping in these high grasses?"

Look who came to the pool
"We had just returned from our first safari ride at Little Kwara Camp in Botswana and were getting ready to cool off in the plunge pool when an unexpected guest arrived."
