Is Zion Adventure Company the only Sport Outfitter rental place in town? Has anyone had any dealings with this company...Good...Bad?? We will be heading there and wondering about the crowds there.

Stinkerbell,
I believe several Fodorites have rented from them, taken "tours" with them. Try a name search in the box and see what comes up. There are a couple sports equip stores in town, but it's a very small town and Zion Adv. may be the only ones who rent.
I forget when you are going...regarding the crowd question.

Is this the one you are looking at?
There's at least one other co in town that rents gear - i think it's something like Zion Outdoor Shop or something similar. They are next to the Zion pizza & noodle place.
June 12 and 13! Thank you!
We rented from them and they were fine. Seemed like the stuff we rented was in great shape and in newer condition. We rented shoes, socks, and wetsuit. We did reserve in advance to be certain they would have what we needed. I haven't been with them canyoneering(have twice with deserthighlights in moab). From what I have read and seen they have an outstanding reputation as well.
