My wife and I are planning a trip to Charleston this spring. Have never been to Charleston or even in this part of the country. I saw this B&B on the net and was wandering if anyone has any input on this property or others. Would like to stay close to the harbour. How close are the harbour accomodations to the historic district ?? Also any other info, best time of year to visit, local activities, other lodgeing, etc. Any info would be appreciated. THANKS

Charleston is the least crowded in January and February with mild temps. Peak seasons are spring and fall. You can also find good rates in the summer but Charleston is HOT June through August.
While the harbor is gorgeous, most of your activities will be downtown. I would highly recommend staying downtown which isn't far from the harbor.
