We have 2 nights without the kids. Both of these hotels are similarly priced. I've be going for the king spa-suite or premium king. How do I decide?

I have not stayed at these hotels as I live in the area. Bardessono is a lovely hotel, very modern and upscale. It has a decent spa and a good restaurant on site and is just a bit closer to all shops and restaurants in Yountville, although both hotels are within walking distance. I am quite surprised that the
Price point is the same, as Bardessono does seem to be quite high end. It also has a very comfortable bar/lounge
Agree w/ elnapper...Bardessono within staggering distance to a few more restos/bars.
We ate at "The Bard" when it first opened. Decent grub, good service and yes, nice bar/lounge.
I'd rather hang at Bottega's or Hurley's bar. Never know who you will bump into at either place.
