I've posted a few highlights from my recent trip back home to Minneapolis on my blog. I get home about once a year and often go back to old favorites, but occasionally get one or two new places in there. Anyway, let me know if you have any questions!

Do they say You betcha! in Minnesota a lot??
Just when making fun of themselves. I never hear people say it regularly.
Ha, yes, Cali is right. There's a book called "How to talk Minnesotan" and "you betcha" is in there, along with "that's different," "hot dish" and other Northern peculiarities made famous (infamous?) by Fargo and Garrison Keillor.
Chris, I went to the play "How to Talk Minnesotan" and also another one called "Church Basement Women" and they were both hilarious.
My article that I wrote from the trip, on the state of the State Fair, is in USA TODAY. You can read it here: http://www.usatoday.com/travel/destinations/2009-08-27-state-fairs_N.htm
Loved your article Chris. Wish I was there for the "Great Minnesota Get together" Have lots of fun memories there.
