Yosemite .. Carlon falls or tuolumne meadows.

This will be the third day of our trip and i wanted to treat my group to a nice day under the sun in the water. I was wondering if i should follow the tuolumne river and swim around there or just go to carlon falls.

I thought that carlon might get boring fast.. is there anything else to do around there? is there any good diving spots near either of these?
