Yelton Manor in South Haven, MI
We are going to a wedding in South Haven,MI in September and have booked a room at the Yelton Manor. A couple we met at a conference recommended it as a nice place to stay. Has anyone stayed there that can comment on the rooms, location, etc?

Drop a line to my cousin Chris Spencer, he is a travel agent who lives in South Haven. [email protected]. He can give you all the scoop, he is the planner of the annual Blueberry Festival in S.H. as well.

Better late than never....I can assure you that this inn is the best in the Midwest if not one of the very best in the USA.
Fabulous location right at the beach, beautiful gardens, lovely rooms, 1000s of books and video, fireplaces, jacuzzis, great food and live-in, dedicated owners.
This is by far my favorite B&B of all time. Sorry it took so long to see your message.

Yelton Manor may well be a good place, but someone in another thread pointed out that innlover just joined Fodors today and has only resurrected OLD yelton posts to rave about it.
It made me curious, so I went to Trip advisor - where I found dozens of anonymous 5 star reviews in the past few months.
It certainly looks like someone associated with the Inn is being a bit aggressive.
