Yellowstone and Glacier or BlackHills/Rapid City and Yellowstone

Jump to last reply

Taking my parents on another trip but I can't decide on doing a Yellowstone and Glacier Trip or a BlackHills/Rapid City and Yellowstone trip.

So far, trying to plan for a rental car a flight out of Glacier and Yellowstone has been the easiest. Any suggestions on one way car rentals? If we did the Glacier and Yellowstone trip I have us flying into Great Falls, picking up the car, driving to Glacier, then driving to Yellowstone from there. We would then fly out of West Yellowstone and leave the car there. These airports have been the cheapest for flights and car rental per the enterprise car rental site.

Does anyone have any advice between the two different trips? This would be a once in a lifetime thing for us so I want to make sure we pick the best trip. My parents aren't into hiking but can still get around enough to do short easy hikes. But other than that there would be no rafting, horse back riding or hiking.
