The summer is a great time to visit that area. Obviously you should go to Yellowstone while youre there. We camped there for a couple nights last summer and it was great., although extrememly cold at night (30's) Another area of interest is Thermopolis, WY----you can bathe in water from the hot mineral springs---they have a couple different small "water parks" with pools and waterslides to enjoy the springs. Make sure you drive around and see the amazing geological features of Wyoming, particularly in the north west....
If and when you do get to Jackson Hole, WY., there are so many activities you can plan on doing from hiking, camping, mountain climbing, attending concerts, art sc%3Dhows, live theater. Indian Pow-wows, white water rafting, horse back riding, etc. Teton and Yellowstone Parks offer many hiking and photo opportunities as well as a chance to see large game animals and other wild life.
Several good restaurants that are reasonably priced include Bubba's for ribs, Jeremiah's for sour-dough pancakes and huge brekfasts, The Bunnery for breakfast and lunches. Many lovely shops and art galleries, as well as a wonderful museum and art center. You'll have so much to do and so little time to do it all in. Cody, Thermopolis, Dubois, Lander--all great little cities that have plenty of folklore, history, rodeos, pow-wows, thermal hot springs etc. for your enjoyment. Have fun while you are there!!
