Would like to combine Savannah with the Beach in May
Looking for ideas on where to stay in Savannah and which beach area to relax in after seeing Savannah. Beach area ,must be quiet and scenic .Visiting in May .Will have a car,

Somebody is going to suggest Tybee Island (nearby Savannah Beach) but a lot is going to depend on your notion of "scenic"

Go to Jekyll Island about an hour south.

If you want a scenic beach, go to Hunting Island in SC. Be aware-everybody goes to the beach when it's nice so you won't really be alone anywhere.

I was going to suggest Hunting Island but I am not sure how close you can actually stay to the beach other than in Beaufort which would be a wonderful choice IMO.
