Try the Don Q Inn in Dodgeville. They have a cozy honeymoon suite built in the steeple of an old church, with a bathtub made from a 300-gallon copper cheeze vat. Or try any of their other themed fantasy suites. Very near Governor Dodge State Park for hiking, and the House on the Rock, an interesting museum.

Yes, the American Club in Kohler is beautiful with nice restaurants; the Horse and Plow (?)is more pub-style, and the other, can't the of the name is exclusive. It's fun to go through the Kohler shops and showrooms. We stayed for our February anniversary, and with the snow and ice, the hotel, trees, and grounds looked like a crystal palace. We hold fond memories.
We also have spent our anniversaries at the Wagon Trail, Ellison Bay, in Door County. Very nice, more lodge-style and more outdoor activities in surrounding area. A favorite for us.

I remember driving past a gorgeously restored Victorian home that was a B*B in Delavan. I believe there was a fine dining venue attached or next door. Perhaps a search for Delavan lodging would turn up the name....We were just driving thru, but vowed we'd return to stay some time, it looked so nice. Sorry this isn't more precise, but every idea helps when you're just casting about, I hope.
