Wineries near Buffalo?

Jump to last reply

I know it isn't Napa, but I know there are NY produced wines and wondering if there are any wineries in this area. Are doing a long weekend with friends - crazy schedule, so why not make it even crazier. Flying Boston-Buffalo and driving to Toronto to see Red Sox play ($400 per person cheaper airfare that way). Seeing Red Sox, doing a short tour of Toronto (we have been there before) and now other couple says they have never seen Niagara Falls - so we will stop there on way back to Buffalo.

So why no add something else - any wineries in this area. Trip is in fall, so seems like perfect winery time.

(In case you think I have totally lost it - this trip will be 3 weeks after dropping second kid off at college - our first empty nest trip and I know I will need to be real busy)
