Wine tasting tours

Planning a long weekend trip, in Missouri, for wine tasting. Where would be a central town to stay? Any of the little towns have good nightlife? Hermann or Augusta? Just want to be able to relax in evening, stroll along main street, listen to live music, etc. Any place like this around the wineries? Thanks for your help
