Wine Country Success

Just back late Mon night from wine country.

What a wonderful time we had. Trying to crunch the numbers to see how we could ever move here - yikes, is real estate high out on "your coast".

I have to say, though, I do miss the weather already. Woke up to rain and COLD on Tues AM after high 70s and sunshine EVERY day of our stay. That I could get used to.

Will do a trip report for all, but wanted to thank everyone for their help - razzledazzle (we waited for you with your case at Dempsey's - where WERE you???) and PamSF in particular - for their patience and info. that helped make this trip a success.

I've finally got my born and bred New England husband with roots so deep I thought I'd NEVER pull them loose talking about moving to Sonoma!!

Thanks everyone. Ready to plan our next trip back!!

Glad you loved Sonoma! Will you please provide some more details? We want to move there, too, but we'd have to live in a box.

Hi wanderer!
Am so glad to hear you had a great time!
The weather was PERFECT for you-
(Pam and I ordered it special)

A friend has her townhouse on the
market here in westside Petlauma-2 Bdr/2.5Bath/nice complex with pool-
It's going for $420-440K

Shall I inquire?
Don't tell me I truly missed meeting
up with you ?

(Did you make your hubby
carry the case?!)
Ms. Pam is still abroad (I think)
yet I know she would be pleased that
her advice was of use!
Looking forward to the tale of your
adventures here...

Yes, Kal and Kimamom, we used everyone's info - most of it things we would never have learned otherwise.

R5 - yes, we waited and waited for you to arrive - the wine awaits your visit to NE!

Unfortunately, retirement is @ 10 yrs away and we can't swing 2 homes (or rather 2 mortgages at once), so will have to pass on the townhome, although sounds perfect. Petaluma was charming.
