Wind Cave vs Jewel Cave

We are looking to tour one of the cave systems, either Wind Cave or Jewel Cave, as time will not allow both. Which is the better one to see? 4 adults and no kids. Thanks

We liked both, however if time only permits one of the caves I would suggest Jewel Cave, its much more colorful.

We were in Jewel Cave back in the 60s when there was no electricity. It was amazing. Have never been in Wind Cave but I would sure recommend visiting the Jewel Cave.

We went to Wind Cave first and loved it so much that we did Jewel the next day! Really can't go wrong with either. My impression was that Wind was slightly less crowded being a little more remote than Jewel. Wind Cave tours will feature the boxwork formations more while a little more calcite formations in Jewel. Otherwise, tours are fairly similar in both.
