Trip Report Wild Dunes/Charleston report/dining

Just got back from IOP/Wild Dunes and Charleston. We stayed in Wild Dunes, so nice there. Stayed at Shipwatch villas, right on beach. Ok, so we had some great meals here is the list:

Mustard Seed-Mt. Pleasant (Southern, gourmet, Great deserts)
Boulevard Diner-Mt. Pleasant (Southern, casual, great shrimp.grits)
Village Bakery-Mt. Plesant (lunch/deserts)
Bodacious bagels- Mt. Pleasant (GREAT bagels, owner so helpful) (Dog friendly!!)
Yamato-Mt. Pleasant (Japanese steak house, fabulous)
Poe's tavern-Sullivan's island, next to IOP (BEST BURGERS!!!) Dog friendly!!!
Hymans -Charleston (GREAT seafood and bread pudding, touristy, but good..try the calamari)

The weather was nice, HOT during day. Be prepared to drive a lot to get anywhere. The food inside Wild Dunes, is not good, so if your staying there, you will have to drive at least 10 minutes to get good food. But staying there is a pleasure. Gated, secure, active community. Lots of acres, walking, biking, beach, pools.
