Since you didn't indicate your price range, how many people are attending, whether you're going to a matinee or evening show, it's almost impossible to make recommendations. You should also have mentioned that you'll be in Chicago as Wicked is also playing in NY, LA and Cleveland.
Check www.metromix.com. You can search for a restaurant by price, neighborhood or cuisine.

Atwood Cafe or Peterino's are both nice mid-range restaurants and both are very close to the theater.

My bad-yes we are going to Wicked in Chicago the 7:30pm show on a Wed-price doesn't matter. Three adults and a 14 year old, we like steaks, seafood, Japanese, Chinese, probably nothing else ethnic.
Sorry, Thanks for any help.

In addition to the above suggestions, Giordano's is about 5 blocks west of the theatre on Randolph. It's casual pizza & pasta. Park Grill in Millennium Park is about 3-blocks east and you can watch the skaters fall while you eat. ;-)
For seafood, there's Catch 35 on Wacker at Dearborn or McCormick and Schmick's at Wacker & State. Both are about 2 blocks from the Oriental.
On the pricier side, there's Smith & Wollensky on State just north of the river.
