Hi All - I am planning a last minute getaway to the Jersey Shore for a few days and was hoping for ideas on which town would be best suited for us.
We are in our mid-30's and travelling with our 2 year old. We are looking for beautiful beaches, comfortable and child friendly lodging, convenient to quaint/cute town, good restaurants, etc. We really want to AVOID the "Jersey Shore scene" - i.e, Snookie and the party crowd
It would also be ideal for us if we don't have to drive once we arrive - walk to the beach, walk to town, etc.
I know the Jersey Shore has some wonderful towns - any ideas are much appreciated. Thanks!!

Ocean City is dry (no alcohol served), so the partyers tend to stay away.
Stone Harbor has lots of families with young kids. Its smaller and quieter than OC, no boardwalk but a nice tree-lined main street with wide stroller-friendly sidewalks.
You can walk to town + beach in both.
