Which Pink Jeep tour in Sedona?

We did the Hummer tour because we have 3 boys who are Hummer crazy and didn't want to ride in the "Barbie" jeeps. We enjoyed it - supposedly a smoother ride than the jeeps because it's a Hummer (which was fine by me).
I don't remember all of the tours offered by Pink Jeep but I think there was a sunset one that sounded interesting. It seems that most people do Broken Arrow. Sorry - not much help....

All of their tours can be done at sunset.
We have done Scenic Rim, which we recommend. Broken Arrow is the best.
Don't do the Gulches tour, it is away from the canyons and not very pretty and hard on the back(not sure of the name). Have never done the one going to the Sinagua Ruins.

I know these tours are wildly popular, but with a good map and a little bit of research there are so many wonderful drives and hikes to take in Sedona that their appeal completely eludes me. (For one thing, I don't want to listen to lame jokes while I'm enjoying scenery.)
IMHO, a horseback ride is a much better way to spend money.

For the do-it-yourselfers, google Schnebly Hill Road...
but, I wouldn't do the drive in my own car or a rental car, and you will miss so much of history, geography and background information on the area. We were a group of two in a jeep driven by an expert in the area - money well spent in our opinions. My sister is a teacher and the guide adapted the tour to her needs and interest. And, I don't remember a single joke.
I believe Pink Jeeps are the only ones allowed on the Broken Arrow tour route - leased access.
I did take a red jeep tour - and it was a poor runner up to the Pink Jeep Tours.
I strongly recommend a sunset biplane ride.

All the Jeep Companies have access to parts of "roads" around Sedona that even if you have an off-road vehicle, you can't get to. There are also mega-insurance issues if you have a rental car, particularly on Schnebley Hill Road (which is not hard to drive on if you take it slow).
Pink Jeep tours has the rights to certain "trails" the other companies don't (that doesen't stop them from going on thes roads however).

We hiked Broken Arrow, then realized we had booked a Broken Arrow Pink Jeep Tour. We swapped out for the Scenic Rim and enjoyed it very much. My sister had done the Indian ruins and loved it, as well.

On a Memorial Day weekend, I jumped off a tour bus and immediately went to the Pink Jeep office to book a tour after lunch. Since there was only one of me, I was able to get my first choice tour but a couple behind me had to take a second choice to get two seats on the same tour. I only had a window of a few hours in Sedona so maybe I just got lucky.

Instead of going on a tour, we rented a jeep from Farabee. This is the same company that rents jeeps in Moab. They are very nice.
We did the Rim, Schnebley, & Broken Arrow. The rental was for 4 hours but they will do 8 also.
Broken Arrow was tough but we got through it. It was alot of fun & a big change from going on a tour.
It was about $100 less than taking the tour which only would have covered one trail not all three.
