Which one first.. from SLC... Help

I have been reading these post and have made my choices accord to all the really great info posted here. But, still not sure what to do first.

We are arriving in Salt Lake City and plan on driving a loop around to the Black Hills and ultimately reaching
Yellowstone & Grand Teton and returning to SLC. We know it's a lot of driving, but we have about 3 weeks time.

Every time I look at the maps, I want to keep adding to our trip, My question for now is, can we squeeze in Arches NP, but I would also like to see Dinosaur NM near Vernal. From here we plan on heading east, then north to the Black Hills.

What do we do first, Arches and then DNM, maybe up thru Flaming Gorge, then east to Cheyenne. Or DNM first and then Arches and head east thru Denver? Or just leave Arches for another time? I just know someone out there has an answer for me!!! Thanks for all the help you have already been to me. I know I will have more questions for the Wyoming post.
PS..... We have already done the other Utah Parks on a previous trip, just didn't get to Arches.
Thanks to All!!!

HI Link,

You sound like you really enjoy the outdoors and our beautiful west. Moab is one of the great places in the world and you can easily spend 5-7 days jsut there. Arches is one of my favorite parks, but there is much more in Moab to see!

I would save Moab for another trip and enjoy your 3 weeks with Dinosaur, Black Hills and Yellowstone and the Tetons!

Thanks Dayle,
I will take your advise and leave Arches for another trip.

Sorry about my double post, wish I knew how to delete one. I am learning my way around these boards, that are filled with wonderful info. They are so helpful in planning our trip!!!
Thanks again

You can't delete or edit a post - yours or someone elses. However, it keeps things more organized if you post subsequent questions, if related, as a reply to your own post or an entirely new question - whichever is appropriate.

(PS - I thought I told you to stop adding to your trip! We almost got caught up in that on recent trips to GC and another trip to Yellowstone. We would have had to quit our jobs to travel if we had kept looking at maps and adding on destinations)

Hi all,
Gail, I decided Not to go to Moab on this trip, I did take you advice along with Dayle. What is it that you think I added?

Since we are going to the Dinosaur NM, Isn't the best way to get back to the interstate up thru Flaming Gorge?
We are still open to any suggestions... Yes, I absolutely love the west, the colors and landscapes are forever changing as you watch. 5 years ago we took the mule ride down to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and spent the night at the Ranch. The most awesome travel experience I have ever had. Now, we look forward to another one. Thanks for any more input!
