Check out www.marriotthotels.com for photos and full descriptions. I love staying at Marriott Hotels. Have a wonderful time in New York City. And, don't forget to see a spectacular broadway play!
Renaissance. Nice rooms. Not too big. In the middle of theatres. The Marquis is a tourist attraction and the elevator waits can be very long.
Both Marquis and Renaissance are in Times Square and the theater district. Marquis is at 45th and Broadway; the Renaissance at 48th and Broadway. Renaissance is smaller than Marquis. Price could be the determining factor..
I haven't stayed at JW, but have been several times to the other 2. Lately been staying at Renaissance. It's so easy to get in and out. Next trip however in 2 weeks will be staying at Marquis. Taking elderly mother with us and more to do and eat in Marquis without having to leave premises. Rooms are nice in both, but Marquis maybe a little nicer room. But definitely a hassle getting in and out of hotel. All in all, unless you have other reason such as I have on this trip, get your best deal. Can't go wrong on either.
