We will be in St. Louis for a few days this summer. I had made a reservation at the Drury Inn, Union Station. How does this compare to the Drury Inn, 4th Street location?
I'm particularly interested in accessability to spots of interest and ease in walking to restaurants, ect. in evening.
Which Drury Inn in St. Louis

Both have good reputations. The 4th Street Drury is brand new and is closer to Busch Stadium, downtown proper and the downtown bars and restaurants.
Both hotels are near Metrolink stops, the St. Louis light rail trains.
Personally I don't care for the Union Station shopping mall, but others like it.
The Drury Plaza on 4th street is very nice and has a great location if you're going to a Cardinal game.
The Drury Inn at Union Station is a good location for all the restaurants nearby to eat at.
Hey Di, If you want to visit the Arch, catch a Cardinals game, visit the Old Cathedral, Old Courthouse, or other activities right downtown, then the 4th Street Drury Plaza is for you. If you want to do all the other stuff, go to the New Cathedral, Central West End, shop at Union Station, then the Union Station is the better location. You can take Metrolink almost anywhere East and North from either stop.
