Which broadway show should we see??
He
We would like to see a few shows while in NYC. SO far Wicked and Billy Crystal we have tickets to. But what about Little WOmen the Musical. I have read a few reviews and thought sounded pretty good. My hubby is worried it will be lousy. He wants to see Dracula. I figure we should go see a new one plus the old favorites. Hairspray sounds like fun to.
Thanks for your candid opinions. You have helped me so much so far.

Little Women hasn't opened yet. So, I assume you mean you read some articles about it, rather than reviews. So, who knows whether it's good or bad?
Dracula was panned by the critics.
Hairspray is one of the best things on Broadway. And so is Avenue Q.

When trying to decide what to see on Broadway, a good place to start is (surprise!) www.Broadway.Com
It has surprisingly candid reviews, and tries to sort out things about a play you may want to avoid.

HowardR, forgive me, I goggled little women the musical and checked a couple of reviews from (I think) North Carolina where it has been playing the last few days. Also it let me see a couple of threads that the person had seen it and what they thoguht about it.
I also did check out Broadway.com and your right it was a great site. I just wondered what everyone thought. Thanks again.

I just saw Mamma Mia two weeks ago and it was such a fun musical. I highly recommend it. I've also seen Movin' Out and if you are a Billy Joel fan you will love the music. It does not have a regular plot like other musicals. It has characters who interact through dancing but has no real dialogue. When I was in New York, it looked like there is a revival of La Cage Aux Folles. I haven't heard anything about this version but I saw it back in the 1980's and it was hilarious! If you can see it in previews it might be a good option if your husband is okay with the plot. Whatever you choose, I hope you have a great time! Michelle

Loved Les Miserable also but unfortunately it has closed. Avenue Q and Wicked are on my list. Liked Chicago as well. You could go to a show every night if you like to eat either very early or very late

When I'm in New York I usually see about 9 to 10 shows in a week, one every night and two to three matinees.
In London, I usually sneak in one or two more than that as they have matinees available nearly every day except Monday.
Momof5, Wicked also does the front row lottery.
