Really just passing through for 1 nt. May have a little time to look around. Looking at SpringHill Suites or Oxford Suites. Thought about Hampton Inn but it's right downtown, too hard to get to? Any recommendations?
Thanks,
isy

That Hampton Inn downtown looks brand new.
Downtown's not hard to get to. From I-84, it's either about 5 miles on I-184, or 3 miles on S. Vista Ave. Depending on which direction you're coming from.
I'd stay at the newest place in town (and rkkwan is correct that it isn't difficult to get into downtown).
Thanks. Hampton Inn website says parking is in the Myrtle St garage for a fee. Do you know how far that is?

No, but I'm sure the hotel does. And, I'm sure it's not far.
If a suite is within your budget, book one.
Enjoy.
Found out that the hotel entrance is on the 1st floor of the garage. Great. Also found out that the State House is closed to public. Having worked in politics and govt for 25 yrs, really like to tour State Houses. Oh, well. Will try to do the little train tour.
How is the Gernika restaurant. See that it's Basque food. Never had that b4.
