Where's a good place to watch fireworks in San Francisco July 4?

Jump to last reply

Every summer we take our granddaughter (12 yrs) somewhere. This year she wanted to return to San Francisco, where we visited 3 years ago. We will be in San Francisco over the 4th, staying at Hyatt Regency (end of California Street). We do have a car, but if I don't have to use it, that is great. Our room will be on the lower floors, so view from the room won't be good.

Is there a good viewing area for fireworks? Just wondering.

Thanks for any suggestions.
