We're looking at hotels on the beach in Oahu for our honeymoon, we've ruled out the Hawiian Village and the Sheraton Wakiki. We're looking at The Outrigger Wakiki Beach and the Outrigger Reef any suggestions as to which one to stay at? We may consider the Monasurfrider but it's a little pricier as is the Royal Hawiian.

Trip Ideas
We like the New Otani because your view from the ocean front rooms is of all of Waikiki and not a partial view from it as at most of the hotels.

Also, the snorkeling here is decent which is not the case at the rest of Waikiki.
We also like it because it's the quiet side of Waikiki. If you want to be in the action, the other end would be best for you.
I'd choose the Royal Hawaiian.
Does anyone know anything about the Outrigger Wakiki or Outrigger Reef. The Royal Hawaiian looks wonderful but it may be out of our price range.
Both the Outrigger Reef on the Beach and the Royal Hawaiian have had recent renovations and the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach is just a short walk from the RH.
Outrigger Reef just completed a renovation of the entire hotel.
